Kelly is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal who has extensive experience in the legal field. As a native of Davie County, Kelly began working in a small town law firm at a young age and quickly developed a passion for assisting clients in order to help them achieve successful outcomes. Kelly attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she majored in political science and minored in philosophy. She interned for North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services and wrote an honors’ thesis on gender discrimination in North Carolina’s female prisons. She went on to complete one year of law school at Campbell University before returning to paralegal work and beginning a family. Kelly has spent the last fifteen (15) years of her career specializing in family law and real estate. She joined the Tash & Kurtz team in December 2015 to serve as paralegal to Monica Guy. She is an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association - Paralegal Division, as well as, the North Carolina Paralegal Association. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys travelling, playing golf, and spending time with her husband and three children.
